ASPIRE-AT is calling and inviting all Producer Organizations (POs), Agricultural Cooperatives (ACs), and Union of Agriculture Cooperatives (UACs) who need: warehouse, drying pad, collection center, packaging facility, water irrigation, community market, or access road

 

 

• The Investment Opportunity:
The Agriculture Services Programme for an Inclusive Rural Economy and Agricultural Trade (ASPIRE-AT) is a programme of the Royal Government of Cambodia which is managed and implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), European Investment Bank (EIB), European Union (EU) and the Government of Cambodia (GoKC), the ASPIRE-AT is calling and inviting all Producer Organizations (POs), Agricultural Cooperatives (ACs), and Union of Agriculture Cooperatives (UACs) who need: warehouse, drying pad, collection center, packaging facility, water irrigation, community market, or access road; each PO/AC/UAC could potentially be receiving the complimentary investment value of up to $300,000 (three hundred thousand dollars in the United States Currency). • Investment Eligibilities: in order for PO/AC/UAC to receive the investment funding as stated above, PO/AC/UAC must meet the following requirements:
1. Registration: Must be fully registered as a producer organization, agricultural cooperative or union of agricultural cooperative with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
2. Value Chain Actors: Vegetable, corn, pepper, cashew, fruit, and native chicken.
3. Land Ownership: PO/AC/UAC must be legally and collectively owning the land
4. Business Plan: the business plan must be endorsed by the Provincial of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (PDAFF)
5. Operational Capability: PO/AC/UAC must be able to demonstrate its ability (strategically and operationally) to operate, maintain and sustain the facility during the post-construction period and moving forward, ensuring the constructed facility shall be utilized to its maximum capacity at all times.
