The year 2022 has been a winding down period where the programme has approached its final year of programme. Field activities has been consolidated and core focus at national level for some IAs has concluded with the exception RUA through SUCRA and Department of Planning and Statistics. The programme component 2 implemented by the General Directorate of Agriculture (GDA) and Department of Agricultural Extension, Forestry and Fisheries (DAEFF) have concluded.

ASPIRE annual progress report 2021 demonstrates that the programme is on the right track to achieve all target indicators are planned. The Annual Work Plan and Budget 2021 was approved in early February, enabling field activities to be swiftly implemented on the grounds.

As the demand for safe vegetables grows, Mr. Pok started to expand his production. Since receiving the first nethouse, he has collected his family money through saving and earning from his farm business to invest 4 new nethouses. He has also become vegetable trader, buying about 200kg of vegetables from his own cluster. He now grows lettuce inside the nethouse, he has growing other type vegetables such as: onion leaves, cucumber, gourd, cherries tomato, fresh corn, water melon etc. on open fields. To promote local materials for compost, he uses the organic manure and other natural materials to fertilize his fields

She is part of the increasing number of rural young women who are deploying their skills productively into the agri-business value chain.[/dt_sc_team]
